I totally understand the potential resale impact however I'm planning on keep the boat. If I sell it later, it will be more to recoup my expenses and maybe a couple of dollars for beer. Plus, I don't think the ,armer for custom boats is real big here around south central PA. We are not near an ocean or real close to any massive lakes.

On the a different topic, I wanted to fess up to a mess up. I tried laying a test shear strip this past weekend and it lead me to realize that I believe a messed up setting up the forms (better I find out now). I pulled a masons line across the strong back and raised each station to that line........Wrong! After rereading the instructions, I need to ensure that the risers are all level, and then place each horizontal Mark on each form so that it lines up with the top of the riser. You can see the picture of the forms with the marks a few posts ago. I have an email to Joe just to confirm I am using the correct Mark.

Remember, full disclosure. I will post the good, the bad and the ugly (and hopefully a beautiful boat at the end).
