Got a little more time to work on the boat last night. Got the stands for the strongback done, forms are cut out and edge sanded.

I cut the holes in the bow and stern forms right after this. The holes I cut are 1.5" which are larger than the plans called for but it's what I had. The OSB actually sanded down to a nice smooth and dense edge finish. If I decide to use any staples, it does appear that it should have a problem holding them.

The one thing to note is that the OSB did warp a very small amount. I don't really think this will matter for anything but the bow and stern forms but I haven't checked yet. If they are, I can either find a way to straighten them, or simply grad some leftover birch ply I have in the garage and make them again. Wouldn't take long since I could use a router and the existing form as a template.

Anyway, that's it for now. Next step is to bring the strongback in from the shed and start getting the forms set up. Also, really need to find some wood. Can't find cedar near me for less then $8-9 per bdft which is not in the plan. Might think about spruce or poplar (can both be found on craigslist around here for $2/bdft).
