I totally understand the potential resale impact however I'm planning on keep the boat. If I sell it later, it will be more to recoup my expenses and maybe a couple of dollars for beer.

That's a healthy attitude to have about resale value, which is low everywhere as far as I can see.

If you are referring to my comment about the 'upcharge' for lighter commercial boats, I mentioned that to emphasize (that many people think) how important it is to have a not-too-heavy boat if possible.

For one, it can make going for a solo paddle very difficult if your boat is heavy, unless you have a Hullivator $$ car rack (or a shoreside home).

I need to ensure that the risers are all level, and then place each horizontal Mark on each form so that it lines up with the top of the riser. You can see the picture of the forms with the marks a few posts ago. I have an email to Joe just to confirm I am using the correct mark.

On conventional plans, the 'marks' to align would be the waterlines (or something parallel to the WL).
You cannot take too much care in setting up the molds - it's critical, so be patient.
