I use an epoxy form Clark Craft that is an equal mix of hardener and resin (1:1) and i use disposable 7 ounce plastic cups for measuring cups. a small batch would be 14 ounces ( 7 each of resin and hardener). A large batch would be twice that size, or about 28 ounces. roughly, these are a bit under a pint and a quart, or a half liter and a liter of total mixed epoxy.

With other brands of epoxy, and the various slow and fast hardeners that are available this information may be useless, but I'm happy to share anyhow.

The point to be taken though, is that if you are doing OK with the amount of resin you have mixed, then keep mixing the same amount, and just make a lot more batches that size. When you get over confident of your speed at applying the resin, and you mix bigger batches, your working time will be shorter as the greater mass will start to set up sooner. To put it another way, you have twice as much material to apply, but the amount of time you have to use it in is going to be shorter. This assumes you are already taking steps to spread out the resin material, or keep it cold, to forestall premature catalyzation.
