Don,

I agree with Kent - I think it is easier to do one layer at a time, but lots of people feel the opposite. What I like to do is let the epoxy green cure before laying additional layers. That way you can trim the edges of succeeding layers with a razor-knife without damaging the layer below. Just wait until the new layer is like leather, run the razor-knife, and peel off the excess edge. Later, scrape the edge to do most of the feathering. I also fill coat exposed cloth weave at the same time that additional layers are put down.
