There may be some slight disconnect on what we consider a "V." I would have called the Petrel mostly flat, but not as flat as a Romany.

You flatter me. :) But I do mainly paddle a Romany now and to me eye the bottom looks pretty darn flat. It has loads of primary, but it also has loads of secondary.

I'd probably have to pass on the trip. Much to dangerous for my tastes.
