I have the Guillemot, not the Expedition Single. The Guillemot is 17', an Expedition is 19'. The Panache is 18.5'. Between the 2 I've built, the Panache has much more carrying capacity. You can see that there's a lot of volume carried forward. The Panache tends to ride over waves, the Guillemot punches through them. And yes, the Panache has an abrupt angle between hull and deck. The hull and deck on the Guillemot meet vertically to form a smooth, rounded transition.
