I don't know if this is too late of a notice for a meet, but I was thinking of going for a paddle this weekend somewhere near Tacoma or Gig Harbor. If any of you are interested in meeting sometime, whichever day is better for you, drop me an email: jnjkey@hotmail.com

I think Saturday is supposed to be somewhat rainy, and Sunday a little less so. I'd like to meet some other builders in the area (pre-cursor to a South Sound Wooden Boat Paddler's Club?), and we can check out each other's cockpit setups and ideas.

Also, Mike Hanks and I have been meeting at the University of Puget Sound pool (open to kayaks 9pm-10pm on Mondays and Thursdays), working on Mike's roll and other techniques. Drop either one of us an e-mail if you are interested in meeting sometime.
