I followed the discussion of trying to kit knee and hip pads/braces. I still feel clueless actually trying to figure out shape and placement of bits of foam. It also seems like I need an extra pair of hands and eyes to measure, fit and double check everything is in place. Especially while in the kayak and not able to contort around to see from all angles.

I live in Port Orchard, WA, there seem to be several other members of the BBS in the same area (Olympic Penninsula). Is there a recomendation for this area of someone I can visit on site and get help fitting knee and hip pads? Or perhaps several of us could get together and help each other puzzle this out, measure, fit, and glue/strap as need? If there is interest, we'd need to figure out a time, location, list of needed materials, etc.

I'm trying to fit out a Pygmy Coho. There seem to be several pygmy owners near by, as well as other types of kayaks being built.

Either that, or if/when we do a another rendouzous out here, maybe there could be a fitting workshop included?
