I can understand your frustration, but in defense of CLC, we (as the customer) don't know where his profit margins exist. If he eliminates the glass/epoxy that you DON'T need, he may not be making enough profit to stay in business.

The other thing, is he has tried (and does a fairly good job) at mass producing something that is difficult to do. When you start customizing each order, it complicates things and slows down the entire process. He's keeping it simple to be assure EVERY one gets what they need. Imagine the frustration you'd have if someone order a boat from CLC and accidently received yours without glass and epoxy. UGH! Perhaps if CLC were only making hamburgers, you could have it "your way".

Enjoy the extra epoxy and glass. You'll find something to use it for.
