It's been a long time since I've posted last. Flickr started requiring Yahoo accounts and I've been too lazy to set one up and get my pictures reconnected until now.

During the winter I finished a pair of skegs using Nick's plans. I'll show some details in a separate post.

I finally got glass and epoxy on the outsides of the deck and hull. I took a week off this summer while the kids were both at different camps. Worked on the boat every day until late in the evening.

The outside of the hull with 6 oz glass and 4 coats of epoxy. Ready for wet sanding.

The hull has 4 oz glass and 3 coats. I tried Nick's heavy coat method using a disposable chip brush. I liked it a lot better than the roller method I used on the hull.

I really like the color of the Spanish Cedar after epoxying. The Celtic heart really turned out well. I can't even find my own mistakes any more.

I'm now working on a wooden coaming ring. Look for another post...
