Strip: A simple fiberglass question

My Raka order has arrived. I'm going to start glassing next week when my Christmas vacation starts.

I've reread the section in Nick's book, Vaclav's manual, Rob's transparent glass lay-up article, and lots of tips from this old post in the forum archive:

http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Building/archive.pl/bid/11/md/read/id/9251/sbj/fiberglassing-tips/

Everyone seems to recommend working in small 6 oz batches at a time:

Have a supply of plastic mixing containers, a whole stack. Mix up a 6 oz batch in one, use it and use a clean one on your next batch. Dont stack the dirty ones, just let them cure, the epoxy will just crack and peel out later.

One hopefully very simple question:

How many small 6 oz batches does it take to do one coat on a typical kayak?

In other words how many containers and squeegees am I going to need for one glassing session?
