I've used Interlux Brightsides a single stage polyurethane enamal on two SOF's using polyester skin and it works well. I'm only two seasons in the oldest of these boats but so far holding up great. Even though the build time of a SOF is short compared to some boats I felt the total. Time into the project was worth spending for good paint. However I'm now building a 3rd SOF and using Benjamin Moore P22 which is similar to Brightsides at about half the price and can be tinted to a wider range of colors.
