My "PL Premium Construction Adhesive" spread thin over KudzuCraft's 8 oz polyester, then painted with Rustoleum paint has held up for two paddling seasons, so far. The only upkeep is touching up the spots that I've abused the Rustoleum off the fabric, usually by scraping up against rocks, bouncing the ends against asphalt when the cart is too close to CoG when transporting it, etc. It's mostly paddled on flat water, though, so I don't imagine the skin itself has undergone much in the way of flexing.

As long as I've got the skirt on, the interior of the boat is bone dry until I get out.

I don't know how well the PL Premium would stick to nylon, though. My other concern is the flexibility of the adhesive compared to the fabric, too. Polyester doesn't stretch that much compared to nylon, from what I understand.
