Hi Jay-
Do you still follow this regime if you are doing your fill coats in the 6-8 hour window, or after it's fully cured? I admit I haven't read my epoxy manual yet- but I will! What do you use to apply the fill coats?

: Blush is water soluble and it's best to scrub it with a little detergent and
: water. I usually go over the surface with a light wet sanding. What
: occurred could be blush - it could be contamination from the lacquer
: thinner - and... some epoxies will form an orange peal surface if put on
: too thick. Once I started wet sanding with detergent and water between
: coats, I never get that problem with any brand of epoxy. By wet sanding -
: just a 10 minute scrubbing of the surface.
