I would caution anyone to not try this with a foam roller. Several years ago I discovered tiny lumps in my cured epoxy, which were quite difficult to sand out. Many sessions later, I concluded that a foam roller will shed pieces of foam after the epoxiy starts to stiffen up a bit.
