I had the same experience. Were you building the chined-deck version or the cambered-deck version? I ran into this problem with the chined-deck version. I corresponded with Grant Coltz, the designer, who was very helpful. Grant said I was the first builder too build this version, which even he hadn't built. I think he is preparing to redo the offsets to fix this problem. I don't think it will cause any performance problems, but I sure wish I had questioned it before stitching and gluing the two together. I would recommend you contact Grant and see if he has those revised panel offsets, if you haven't gotten too far along yet. In retrospect, it should have been a dead giveaway when I had to really tweak my batten to get it to follow the plotted points of the offsets ;-)
