I build a S&G yak with a strip build recess deck.
I guess I did the longest route.
First, I glass the deck,then make the cut out, strip the recess deck, glass that one more time(with glass wrapped all the way to the bottom of the yak), strip the coaming, glass the vertical strips, glue the lip (3 Layers) and finally 2 layers of glass.
I did way over-build the cockpit!
The glass under the lip was so thick that in some area, it pluckered. I guess I'll have to grind that out and reglass that area.
