Does anyone have any feedback or opinions on Eric's footbraces? Is the resting angle of your feet any different than using the Yakima or Keepers? Does the rail get much abuse for get bumped into at all given it's placement in the center of the hull? Looks like it could smart some if you were paddling barefoot. I find that after I'm in the boat a while, I like to adjust the footpegs for a tighter fit. Is this easily done while sitting in the cockpit?

I'm thinking of putting in a footpump in my Coho and was wondering if the two would mix. The footrests seem pretty wide and I don't know how I'd get to a footpump with this type footbrace. Has anyone used one in combination with a footpump on the bulkhead? Inquiring minds want to know.
