I apologize, I thought you were talking about the black area in the picture. As far as epoxy delaminating maybe the coats of epoxy didn't adhere properly. I use Systems Three epoxy and they give a small window of time between coats of epoxy before the epoxy starts to develop a blush which needs to be removed, then the area sanded to prepare it for another coat of epoxy. Could this be what's happening? Just a thought.
