Sorry for the slip-up. Just as a general point of reference, historic kid kayaks from Greenland are in the 8-10' range and range from 12-about 15 inches. I actually have my eye on KOG 35 from the Greenland National Museum as a Christmas present for my 4 y.o. It has a different shape (the early 20th century banana shape), but is 12" in the beam and 9' long. The original is said to have been for an 8-9 year old, but keeping in mind that average height for a contemporary Greenlander is 5'3". It will be a good rolling boat when she gets a bit bigger and it sits lower in the water off the water lines.
