Well...depends, almost entirely on how it's built and of what. Can certainly make any wood boat much stronger than any other construction, but it adds weight. Kinda like my commercially built expedition weight NDK Greenlander, it's a nice rugged boat, but it weighs around 65 lbs, awfully heavy for a fiberglass boat. Darned near indestrutable though.
