: I just finished installing bulkheads on my Guillemot ES. I originaly had
: planned to use minicel bulkheads which I had cut and ready to install but
: changed my mind. I opted for fiberglass-carbon panels as bulkheads. They
: were really quite easy to install in the already decked boat. I tack
: welded them in place with a hot glue gun, I even tacked on a nylon strap
: handle to hold the panel in place while hot gluing, then I filleted the
: seams and glassed the fillets with bias cut strips of glass. It was a
: little tight working thru my forward hatch, but no big deal.

: I did not want to lose any valuable foot room so I did the bolt thru the hull
: footbrace mount.

I was intending to bolt through for foot braces, too, space is tight. I was going to bore oversize holes, fill and redrill and then put 1 maybe 2 layer patches inside to reinforce a little. Sound reasonable?
