: Each way will have it's advantages and disadvantages. As long as you can mark
: a nice straigth cut and your boat is rigid enough to to holds it's shape
: while you make bulkheads, I don't see any problem with cutting first,
: bulkheads second. Rigidity may be a problem with some kinds of boats, but
: shouldn't be an issue with a stripper.

: Obviously, I am not seeing what you feel to be the potential problem with
: this method.

if there's even a hope that it's rigid enough to cut before bulkheads(could use external form at the cut for shape - even w/ a floppy one) that'd be the trick way to go as all the large interior glassing would be in one step.

glue, epoxy one bulkhd in one side, bolt up other bulkhead w/ spacers between. slide on other side w/ little wedges in the o/s form just like seam taping to get a perfect(or pretty good fit. like a guide.

It's be interesting to cut a yak up into little 1 foot sections like this w/ perimeter slides in some cases and bulkhead in others.

I wonder what it'd look like if you cut like puzzle shapes in plan and just sort of consecutively linked every thing together. Make 2 identical yaks of dissimilar colors and you could play w/ color changes for a while.

stupid, but I like the basic idea.
