I'm not familiar w/ the yak, but my 1st reaction is why not? If you take the last panel and divided it into 3 pcs - aside from the kerfs - sounds like a good possibility of working. But the drawbacks:

1/ There's a good possibility that you'll end up w/ a little gap at the extreme front and back at the top b/c of losing perimeter caused by losing the kerfs. So plan on a coupla little filler pcs. My guess 2 triangle 8in x 1/8in.

2/ If the present profile is fairly flat (horizontal), cutting out the kerfs means that nothing will reach and there's not point anyway - but I think from the other posts that it rises up fairly high.

So test it out:

Take a main station pt., draw it out. Measure a pc of scrap ply to exactly the same o/a dimension of the pc to be cut (along the station). Cut the scrap ply (say 3in long by the dimension -say 7 in) into 3 equal parts using exactly the same saw and technique. Sand the edges. Remeasure the o/a dimension. Figure out the exact kerf size.

Take the 3pcs, touching ea other and arrange them on the form dwg and see if you can get the shape you want. If not subtract more and mark it down. Use paper cutouts for the other stations. Mark the wood, fair the marks, and good luck.

Give it a whirl w/ some doorskin 1st. But draw ea station.
