First before you get started either lay the panels that came with the kit a side or make a set of templates of the actual panels.

Now go for it!!!

I believe, if nothing else, you will learn something that you can apply to your next projects, regardless of the outcome. Many of us in this forum do not strictly follow the designers 100%. Some of the outcomes I've seen are simply amazing.

If you have the skills and the intellectual capacity (talent), and the desire to accomplish something different, I would only encourage you to go for it...willy
