Ken,

There is at least one. It would be good for puttering around on lakes and ponds. It is Bolger's kayak, plans were publinshed in Payson's "Instant Boats". I'd redo the deck and cokpit though, because they are very ugly. The deck is flat with a partially covered box on top to give foot room and a coaming. I'm planning on eventually building this for my nephew. Will someone else on this board build it before me? It can be built in a weekend.

Other's to look at include the Tursiops, and Pygmy Golden Eye 13. Another old wide design is the Jawbone Kayak. I think CLC might have a short wide Mill Creek. There are lots of old designs that fit this description.
