Peter:

I'm used the same stuff for the Ches17 I'm finishing up now. I used up all but a babyfood jar's worth of it after four coats. I had to thin (mineral spirits)each cupfull that I used for a given coat. Perhaps I should have finished the deck epoxy touch-up and varnish steps before attacking the hull with the Brightsides, but I thought I would could just wipe off any drips that land on the white hull. Well, I should have masked the whole hull instead because I stained the upper layer of the white poly and had to lightly wet sand it out. I figure I lost the upper layer of Brightsides doing that. Now I have to buff a shine back into the hull. Speaking of which... although I have a car polisher/buffer, I'd like to use my Makita ROS with a homemade bonnet to have better control with the polishing compound. Anyone out there try/heard of doing that? Paul C. _________
