Damn, I plead information overload! Sure I've heard of cutting the cloth on the bias, just seemed to forget that among the million bits of new information I've gleaned here over the past few months. I even live with a quilter who bandies about such terms all the time (and it's going to be her boat too).

Well, if worst comes to worst, I'll sand off my little patching attempt and bias cut the next strip of 'glass.
