i have cut short (six foot) pieces by applying masking tape to the cloth (the edge of the tape at the correct width) to both sides of the desired strip. i then cut down the middle of the tape. this keeps the edges from fraying. when the epoxe is applied, the tape is not wet-out and is trimmed off after the epoxe has hardened enough. it should work for longer strips. jtmc
