George, stay out of this. ****************************** ****************************** I've done it both ways and I get less outgassing with a sealer coat, that's why I use it.... and I use less of the expensive clear coat from S3 when the wood has been sealed with regular S3. I can't imagine applying a sealer coat being much of a problem though.... it takes 10 minutes to squeegee 10 ounces or so of epoxy onto the bare wood, let it set up, and then glass as you normally would. Of course what works for one may be anothers headache..... Doug
