The jugs I buy the regular S3 in are too big for the sink. I usually run a sink full of hot water and let the jugs sit in it.... I'm not sure of the temp, it's hot but not hot enough to scald. I should stress the importance of mixing up small batches here though... hot epoxy will go off faster than cool and you don't want to make nice clear paper weights with the expensive epoxy. I think the plastic containers I use are 5oz. or so??? The epoxy is about the consistency of milk... just a tad thicker than water and wets out instantly. One thing to be careful of after you have sanded your existing sealer coat... some times, but not always, the resulting splotchy look will remain even with another sealer coat. I've had this happen twice, I sanded the sealer coat to wood but not uniformly. When I wet out the cloth it dissapeared. The next time I did this it didn't go clear and was a bit splotchy. The difference was redwood/cedar, the cedar being the wood that remained splotchy. Doug
