Hi Jim;

That's a good point. I have never tried super gluing mahogany or redwood. As an aside, I've been having a real problem finding ANY boatbuilding woods locally in Central Florida. Finally I stumbled across some S4S Cedar in the rafters of one lumberyard. It looks like it's been sitting up there for 30 years or more! This afternoon I'm off to sort through boards . . .
