I would have a difficult time to describing it in words. If the Jerry Weinraub "Pedal System" mesage thread doesn't help I can send a photo or sketch because this is the system I have in my NZ- built Puffin. ( I think the fixed bar with the swivelling bar on top is better because it is more solid and gives more freedom of foot movement while retaining bracing capability).

About to go a way for a week - won't be checking bulletin board again until 25 Jan.
