Nick,

I noticed your comment regarding 5 coats of varnish. I just finished my Guillemot and only used 3 coats of Z spar. Using your foam brush method, the coats appear kind of thin. The boat will only be used once a month in coastal CA waters by Monterey. Do you think I need to add more coats? I essentially used about 2/3rd's of a can.
