Strip: External stem

I am deciding between solid external stem or laminated external stem. If I laminate do I attach each lamination separately. For example take a 1/8 th lamination and attach to the kayak wait for it to dry and then attach a second and so on. Or do I glue each 1/8 inch strip to each other then attach to the boat?

Also just use regular carpenters glue like I did for the strips

Took me two weeks of playing with forms to get them straight. So this might take awhile. Also have an internal stem
