That´s right, Greg. The plans is for strip only (because that´s the way I can handle the dimensioning) – to supply individually adjusted expanded panels would be quite another business. But I frequently get the question about a flat panel version, and the answer is always: order the adjusted plans, erect the molds as for a strip construction, hang the plywood panels, trace the shapes, cut, and start stitching. The obvious advantage compared to using precut panels from patterns is that you get the correct hull shape on the molds even without CNC-precision panels.

Petruskajak in Sweden, who teaches 8-day plywood-BP-building classes, got the panel shapes this way, and have precut parts (panels, stems, cockpit rim, seat, adjustable skeg, hardware etc) for five sizes in the shop.
