Abranet is a beautiful paper. Good choice. You should sand only till the high spots are knocked off with the 80. The orange peel tops, so to speak. Then move on to a 220 or so grit to finish smoothing. Where you hit the glass I would stay away from with a ros, hand sand the areas with 220, just a little then 400, just a little. Then when you re apply another fill coat, those areas should wet out clear again. Trick is to be super careful fairing the fill coat, best is to try with the lightest grit you have and slowly go harsher till it works good then start to go back up again.
Good luck.
