It's possible to get panels and boards made from bamboo but the stuff is manufactured using a lot of specialized industrial equipment. You can do a lot with bamboo if you have an industrial size pressure cooker to soften it and roll it flat. Then it's bonded into whatever using glues that are activated by heat and or pressure. What you get is something that is as much glue as bamboo. Whatever you want to do at home will not benefit from any of this technology. Bamboo is tough to work with and the splinters are hell.
