In Response To: OK, Let's get down to plans (Paul G. Jacobson)

I have ~20 coolers, 28" x 28" x 21", 2" THICK WALLS INCLUDING COVER
Each Cooler would produce 6 flat slabs
2 - slabs - 18" x 28" (the corners are beveled round)
2 - slabs - 18" x 24" (squared, because I cut 2" off each end for the first slab)
1 - slab - 24" x 24" (bottom)
1 - slab - 28" x 28" (top, kinda ugly, beveled round corners & groved to fit the top of the wall)

I can get either bicycle boxes or motorcycle boxes from the Harley dealer. They are ~4' tall x ~ 6' long, with the corrugations running 4' tall.

The thinner material has the viscosity of latex wall paint and is spread over the roof surface with a
coarse brush. Three or four coats harden to a thick and very durable rubber film. A layer 1/16th of an inch thick would make
an excellent skin for a kayak. It builds up to a thick and strong coat. When bridging cracks one coat of elastomeric roofing material is applied then a piece of fiberglass mesh is pressed into the wet material and covered with another coat of the roofing compound. The fiberglass mesh looks like window screen material. It limits the stretch of the roof covering material.

The drywall tape is paper, the elasomeric coating is from Home Depot, white, applied with a brush.

Do you have access to a table saw? How about a handheld circular saw or a saber saw or jig saw?

I have those tools and more... even a staple gun - yes

I'll need to make a pair to make 2 Greenland-style paddles. Cedar might be a trick around here. Pine is too economical.

Bamboo is an option. There are a few varieties growing around here. Small like for arrows, medium like for fishing poles (some >20') and large ~4" diameter.
