: Daniel,
: I don't know how I could be more specific but I'll try.
: If you build one boat using the vacuum infusion process the cost of the boat
: and the time element involved equal everything it takes to seek, buy,
: assemble, check out, and test run plus all the money the equipment and all
: other necessary materials cost.
: A single kayak built under those circumstances has to be THE MOST EXPENSIVE
: HULL EVER BUILT. Since private builders can't write off the costs of their
: hobbies on their tax returns, VI looks like a technique that will not find
: a lot of practitioners. For any that can afford it I say go for it but I
: doubt it that includes very many of us.
: If you haven't heard the US economy is going down the toilet as we speak and
: many of us are going to end up building $100 SOFs or building nothing at
: all.
: Thanks for creating the opportunity for me to spew once again.

: Charlie,

Charlie,

I totally agree. I would never use this method for non professional builds and one of a kinds. But I found the method interesting and should have post it to Sam and not Charlie.
But I liked the discussion though I build S&G and stripper.

Best wishes for the Next Year from Friesland to all of you. I enyoy this site very much.

Daniel
