It's ok to translate my email address I mean, when it leaves my machine it is a perfectly legible and usable address. I use sneakemail to generate unique addresses for every use so that I know from whence spam originates.

Example:
I want to buy a clock at amazon.com. I log in at sneakemail and create an address with a private label (my eyes only) amazon. When I order, I give them that address. If, for whatever reason, someday I start receiving spam at that address, I give amazon a very hard time about it!

I created a unique address for use here and post with it. It works coz I got a little response from the list server that said that you'd written to me...

But, if you search on 'charles w' over the past year (go to:
http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Building/index.cgi/search, select 'in the past year' and posted by 'charles w') you'll find that 5 of my 20 posts have had random garbage added to them! Please note that it adds the same random garbage to three different places in the message, yet that the garbage is different every time!
