Hey ya Cool Guy!

Dontcha woory, I'm the sort to quote people, it's quite the thing to do. Actually, I memorize many quotes, and with studied nonchalence (and a ironic raising of one eyebrow), casually say the saying, pause for the dramatic effect, and state the author of the saying. Such things are sure winners, especially with the heroic pose, properly backlit by the rising (or setting) sun. Look closely, you'll notice I have a pinky finger extended, too (sign of being a graduate of charm school). Hell, I ought to run for President, huh?

Okay, I'll be serious for one second and one second only. We're having the time of our lives right now. I used to be a serious bureaucrat, but no longer. Rikki on the other hand has a great job with Universal and she can take off between projects whenever. Me, I had to quit to begin living. Best thing I ever did. Still, could you imagine working-slaving-for some promise of a retirement, then die without living to recoup all the time lost? Jeeez, that is the worst thing I can imagine. On this trip I met a guy, Dean Egger, who was traveling the world. He once was a attorney who actually owned an apartment in Manhattan, and longed for the country, and one day he quit, sold everything, and travels about in his Ford, taking pics and hiking/climbing/biking the country. Pretty neat guy with a wealth of experiences. He told me his previous life was a blur of years without meaning. Surely I knew what he was about.
So we're debating whether to head down to Florida or head to NZ. choices...
