In Response To: end pour question ?? (Terry)

I did my end pours two days ago. Did 1 1/2 oz at a time with two hours in between. Almost no heat buildup. No bucket of cold water. I had scuffed up the area in the bow and stern with 60 grit sandpaper before mating the deck and hull. I had also planned the location of the hole and then measured the amount of epoxy I would need before joining the hull and deck. Put in a cardboard dam and measured rice into it with a tablespoon measure. Converted the tablespoons to liquid ounces and I was set. Oh, yeah. I added a little to account for the volume in the deck and for safety. And I had angled the dam so I propped the boat up at that angle. Get yourself a headlamp.
