In Response To: end pour question ?? (Terry)

Hey there Terry,

I used about 6 oz of epoxy and mixed quite a lot of sawdust and whatever else was on the garage floor in with it (maybe thats where that little spokeshave went!), but not so much that it wouldn't pour.

Get your bucket full of water and set the boat up in it and your pouring cup with the strings on it ready to go prior to mixing the goop.

I would be nervous to do an endpour into a boat with a hole in it, probably should wait and handle that on its own later. Just picture the tape giving way and your endpour flowing out onto that nice bow.

Happy pouring and post a photo if you get a chance!

: I'm not sure how many oz.of resin to use in the end pour of my G-17?
: Can you drill the hole first, tape it all up,then fill the end??
: Then re-drill a smaller hole.
: thanks for any advice.. Regards Terry
