In Response To: Varnish Advice Needed!! (Byron)

I spent a few years of frustration trying to get a dust free environment in my basement for varnishing, including putting up plastic tents around the boat. I finally went out and bought myself an inexpensive ionizer which knocks dust right out of the air. I vacume really well then run the ionizer 24 hours a day during varnishing. Just before each coat I wetmop the floor in the area I will be walking. I'm not sure aircleaners would ever get the room totally dustfree but this ionizer does.... Hope this helps,

Edgar

: Maybe running the air cleaner a bit longer prior to varnishing? What am I
: missing here?
