Yeah-I'll second that!!!!
Plus it isn't anywhere near as heartbreaking when your yak gets scratched.
I think the only people who will notice the imperfections are you, cabinet makers, kayak builders and other whatever other varnish nazis may be lurking out there.
Besides, paddling is WAY more fun than sanding sanding sandi..........
