I've used power feeds in professional shops and I love'em.

Power feeds are great if you have a lot of stock to cut and you cut a lot of stock.

I have one of the small ones. Delta Versa Feeder 36-863, but I've seen this very same feeder sold under other names. It only has a 1.2 AMP motor but the cost looked good at about $300.

If I had to do it over again I'd either not buy one or spend the $500 it costs for a real feeder. The cheap one mentioned above has only JUST enough power to do the job and sometime not quite enough power. It gets very hot and I'm sure it's going to burn out soon.

I think you'll be wasting your money if you buy the cheap one. I know how to set-up a power feed. If you don't and you don't know how they work you could waste a lot of time fooling with one of the cheap ones and be mad as hell.
