Has anybody tried to use wood dyes on the strips before gluing? i have been pondering building my next boat with a number of colored strips, but am concerned with epoxy delamination and dye penetration. (I don't want to sand and find out the time spent with dye was fruitless) if this is a bad option, has anyone used colorations in epoxy/varnish?
