I'm in the SF Bay Area. Today I paid $1.35 per linear foot for Western Red Cedar ... air dried ... S3S ... 11/16" X 5-1/2" stock ... flat sawn ... in 10' and 12' lengths. Out here lengths over 12' are unobtainable and you're lucky to find Western Red Cedar at all. Flat sawn wood was about 1 in 30 planks.
